About Pivotal Point Transitional Housing
A hand up.
Not a handout.
What we are about
Pivotal Point Transitional Housing provides a Christ-centered pathway for families and individuals to overcome homelessness and pursue lasting self-sufficiency. In exchange for fully furnished, rent and utility-free housing, participants engage in structured life-skills training, weekly counseling focused on employment, budgeting, problem-solving, and nutrition, and receive access to professional services such as legal assistance, auto repair, dental care, and medical care.
Graduates are supported for five years with continued counseling and post-program resources, including access to the food pantry, holiday assistance, and back-to-school support. Unlike crisis-based programs that offer one-time aid, Pivotal Point addresses each person’s total life situation through education, accountability, and compassionate support, helping break cycles of poverty and move toward long-term stability.
